Dear Deborah Borchardt,
Your Nov. 21, 2016 article* in Forbes states that the [NYSE] review process states that “companies must be in compliance with the law.” Yet when I click on the link in the article for this quoted rule, I can’t find it. Can you help me verify it? I’m a writer for The New Yorker looking into a related matter. Thanks for your help. Are you, by the way, an attorney?

Hi Dan,
I am not an attorney. The NYSE provided me with their listing manual. Maybe it has changed since 2016 and that’s why the link doesn’t work? Have you checked with NYSE? If I recall, it was a pretty lengthy document and took awhile to go through. My original notes didn’t have the backlink and the original email I got from the NYSE is long gone.
