Slang Creates 420 Virtual Backgrounds For Zoom

Looking to jazz up your virtual background for 420? The marketing team at SLANG decided to produce some cannabis-themed zoom backgrounds featuring some of our favorite brands as many of us gear up for a virtual 4/20 at home. You can find the link to download them here. The brands featured include Cookies, O.penVAPE, District Edibles, Pressies, Firefly, and Bakked.
“At SLANG Worldwide, our Marketing strategy reflects much of what’s core to the human experience during these times, finding moments to connect even while we’re far apart,” said Brittany Hallett, VP of Brands, Media, & Events. “We’re looking for opportunities to relate with our customers and the experiences we’re all going through, looking for ways to make each other smile and laugh, and most importantly looking for opportunities to do good in our communities. This is something that’s always been core to who we are, now we just have to look to get even more creative with how we get there.”
According to the website Business of Apps, with people confined to their homes, apps like Zoom have allowed for work to continue. “People in their droves chose Zoom over other options. Ease of access and careful work to keep latency below 150 milliseconds (the maximum before conversations start to feel unnatural) have been cited as potential reasons. in March, Zoom was seeing 200 million daily meeting participants. This compares to 10 million in December 2019. The UK cabinet and 90,000 schools in 20 countries were among new users of the app.”

There are a variety of 420 events being held through Zoom. Here are a few to check out:
