springbig Honored for Best Customer Loyalty Tech at Green Market Report Tech Awards

Since 2017, springbig has transformed from a simple CRM into a comprehensive marketing platform for cannabis retailers.

The Green Market Report Tech Awards were presented following the first-ever Green Market Report Tech Summit on Sept. 8 at The Pearl event space in San Francisco. This week, we’ll be providing a closer look at the honorees.

Best Consumer Loyalty Program: springbig

Since 2017, springbig has expanded their business services to incorporate customer relationship management (CRM), an advertising network, data and analytics, and referral programs. Along the way, it’s transformed from a simple CRM into a comprehensive marketing platform for cannabis retailers.

Seamless integration into existing dispensary point-of-sale and e-commerce systems offers springbig’s clients a “single source of truth” CRM platform that becomes the database of record for retailers’ in-store and online customers, capturing key purchasing and behavioral data. Retailers can design personalized loyalty software to match their branding and messaging, supported by the springbig team.

In August 2021, the company launched re:source, its first mobile app. A comprehensive cannabis retail, loyalty and digital communications platform, re:source consolidates consumers’ dispensary communications, shopping carts, store promotions and loyalty rewards into one single location. Springbig’s technology also allows store owners and cannabis brands to track their performance and ROI, in real time.

Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Jeffrey Harris founded marketing software company InteQ more than 20 years ago, a company that “took loyalty marketing from simple punch card programs in coffee shops to technologically advanced marketing tools.”

Alongside Harris, springbig’s C-suite is filled out with Chief Products Officer Sam Harris, Vice President of Marketing Nat Shaul, Senior Vice President of Digital Communications Mar Horbal and Vice President of Engineering Andrew Wei, all of whom also are company co-founders. Chief Financial Officer Paul Sykes and Chief Technology Officer Navin Anand complete the executive staff.

The company’s management, engineering, business development, onboarding, client support and success management departments employ an impressive roster of talented professionals, who power the loyalty program’s robust platform. With three-year revenue growth of 5,485% from 2017 to 2020, the company is well-positioned for long-term, sustainable growth.
